Plato’s protégé and Alexander the Great’s teacher─ Aristotle lived from 384 BCE to 322 BCE, and for over two millennia he influenced not only the Greek philosophical tradition, but also all three monotheistic traditions─ Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. His life, work, and influences are an adventure to study. His chief legacy is that he taught us to wonder─ and encouraged that as a way of life.
